Our mission is to provide dependable, efficient, cost effective, professional transportation services to our customers.  We will safely deliver our customers cargo within the United States of America while meeting or exceeding expectations.  Our success depends upon the contributions of all of our employees, contractors, and Owner Operators.  Our family oriented company will provide a safe and pleasant work environment while encouraging professional development and teamwork.

History

MNH Truck Leasing Co., LLC was formed in June 2004.  Started as an owner/operator operation (3 trucks), leasing trucks on with Kotten Enterprises, Border to Border and JKAT Enterprises.

In April of 2007 MNH acquired it’s Broker authority. At this time MNH owned only one truck.  Paul and I concentrated on brokering freight for the next 2 years, both of us working out of our homes. In May of 2009, MNH obtained a lane requiring company owned trucks, so we purchased 3 more trucks over the next 2 months. At this point we leased an office in Arcadia, OH. With the continued effort to acquire more customer contracted lanes came the need to acquire additional trucks.  By the end of 2013, MNH had 17 trucks and 30 trailers in its operation.

In August of 2014, MNH acquire a 6600 square foot building on 4 acres in Fostoria, OH.  The building included a 3 bay truck/trailer repair shop. Since then, MNH has continued to grow where we currently have 30 trucks and 55 trailers in our operation.  Besides Paul and I, our staff includes 3 in our Sales department,  2 in our Accounting department, 4 in our truck dispatch, 2 in our broker dispatch and 2 in our safety department.  We also have 3 mechanics in our repair shop. 

 MNH is a family company that concentrates on customer service and an on safely delivering our customers products in a timely fashion.

CMV Driver Hiring Standards

The following Driver Guidelines are provided as an aid to determine driver acceptability:

  •  A driver must have three or more years of verifiable long-haul over-the-road experience.
  •  A driver must be at least 24 years old (needs to be 21 years old to obtain CDL).
  •  23 years old will be accepted with two years over the road experience plus certified professional truck drivers institute certificate (truck driving school) or Military experience.
  •  Clean MVR and PSP report
  •  Up to date medical examiners certificate
  •  Must pass criminal background check
  •  Contractor trucks must be model year 2008 or newer
  •  Contractors must pass our internal vehicle inspection process

Disqualifying Events

A driver will be considered unacceptable if any of the following have occurred during the latest three-year period as a result of business and personal use, unless prohibited by state law:

  • One at-fault accidents
  • Other serious violations (i.e., speed of 15 mph or more over the speed limit, failure to use seatbelt
  • No More than three moving violations
  • No More than two moving violations in last 12-month period
  • Conviction of reckless, careless or negligent driving
  • Conviction of driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) of drugs or alcohol (an "open container" conviction would also fall within this category) within last 5 years
  • Illegal possession of a controlled substance
  • Refusing to test and or testing positive to a drug and alcohol test (last 3 years)
  • Driving while impaired
  • Participating in a racing contest
  • Operating after license has been denied or suspended
  • Misrepresentation to avoid arrest
  • Misrepresentation to obtain driver's license
  • Traffic violation resulting in death
  • Conviction of leaving the scene of an accident (hit-and-run)
  • Conviction of using a vehicle to elude an officer
  • Current license is under suspension or revocation
  • Revocation for any reason
  • Operating while license is revoked or suspended
  • Vehicle used in connection with a felony
  • Driving while using a wireless phone, or texting while driving
  • 3 or more jobs within the last year, 5 or more jobs within the last 2 years
